Cherry Lane Redevelopment
Cherry Lane will redevelop a large portion of the Cherry Creek North district’s west side of Clayton Lane between 1st and 2nd Avenues. The project replaces the former Sears Department Store and Crate & Barrel buildings with new mixed-use development while retaining and renovating key existing structures. A new 9-story residential high-rise will rise above the existing 2nd Avenue Parking Garage, connected via two levels of new below-grade parking. The Crate & Barrel site will be rebuilt with a 5-story residential building above the existing garage. Ground-floor retail and restaurant spaces will line a new open-air pedestrian paseo, enhancing public access and connectivity throughout the block. The project will maintain over 1.8 million sq. ft of built space, deliver 411 residential units, and provide 1,830 parking spaces, blending high-end housing, retail, and office uses into a walkable urban environment.
