Oasis Apartments Reach Construction Milestone in Cherry Creek North
DENVER, CO – Construction has reached a major milestone at The Oasis Apartments, a mixed-use development underway at 299 Milwaukee Street in Cherry Creek.
In March 2026, crews with The Beck Group topped out the structure, marking completion of the building’s primary structural frame. The project is being developed by BMC Investments and designed by Shears Adkins Rockmore (SAR).
The development replaces several existing buildings on the block and will introduce new housing, retail space, and publicly accessible open space within the Cherry Creek district.

Mixed-Use Development Planned for Milwaukee Street
The Oasis Apartments are planned as a residential building containing 158 apartment units along with approximately 24,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space.
The project spans nearly the full block between 2nd Avenue and 3rd Avenue along Milwaukee Street, an area known for its concentration of retail, restaurants, and residential development. Plans for the site also include a publicly accessible park at the corner of 3rd Avenue and Milwaukee Street incorporating landscaping and water features intended to provide a new gathering space within the neighborhood.
Residential amenities are expected to include interior courtyards, a fitness center, and a rooftop lounge and pool deck with views of the surrounding area.

Construction Progress
Construction began with demolition and abatement of three existing buildings and a parking structure in September 2024.
Following excavation and foundation work, vertical construction began in June 2025. The recent topping out milestone marks the completion of the building’s structural frame, allowing crews to move forward with exterior façade installation and interior buildout.
According to the project team, the development is currently progressing toward anticipated completion in early 2027.

Once complete, the project will add new residential units, retail storefronts, and open space to Cherry Creek North, one of Denver’s most active mixed-use neighborhoods.
