DENVER, CO — Denver-based Lilac Coffee is expanding its footprint with a third location at Hub North, located at 3660 Blake Street in Five Points.

The locally owned coffee company welcomed guests for a soft opening on Saturday, October 24, offering an early look at its newest café ahead of its planned official opening on November 16, 2026. Developing Denver correspondent Ashton Acree visited the new location during the soft opening to explore the space, sample the menu, and speak with the team about the expansion.

Unlike Lilac's original drive-thru location along East Colfax Avenue, the new café is designed as a gathering space where customers can sit, work, meet with friends, or enjoy their coffee.

The location is part of a larger renovation at Hub North, a 105,000+ square-foot office and retail property directly across from the 38th & Blake RTD commuter rail station. The property owners acquired the Hub North in September 2025, announced plans earlier this year to renovate the building's lobby and introduce an adjoining all-day café.

The newly completed space features a dedicated coffee counter, modern lighting fixtures, seating areas, wood finishes, and Lilac's signature purple branding. The improvements are intended to create a more welcoming ground-floor environment for office tenants and neighborhood visitors.

Customers can expect Lilac's signature Honey Lilac Latte, specialty espresso drinks, seasonal beverages, pastries, and breakfast options. The new location is also introducing several specialty drinks, including the Strawberry Flat White, Maple Brandy Cortado, and Espress-old Fashioned.

Founded by Colorado native Josiah Kim, Lilac Coffee first opened along East Colfax Avenue in 2024 before expanding into downtown Denver's Granite Tower at 1099 18th Street earlier this year. The Hub North café marks another step in the company's growth, bringing its locally owned coffee concept to one of Denver's most active commercial districts.

Lilac Coffee's new location is at 3660 Blake Street, directly across from the 38th & Blake Station. The official opening is scheduled for Monday, November 16, with customers encouraged to follow @lilaccoffeeexpress for updates on operating hours and availability during the soft-opening period.
