45 Affordable Apartments Planned for New Four-Story Development Near East Colfax Avenue
DENVER, CO — A new affordable housing development is being planned near East Colfax Avenue, with Valor on the Fax Phase II proposed for 1475 North Trenton Street.

The project would bring a new four-story residential building to the site with 45 income-restricted apartments, including 39 one-bedroom and six two-bedroom units. The building would be organized around a central courtyard, creating a shared outdoor space between portions of the development.
The ground floor would include several resident-focused spaces, including an amenity area, shared workspace, flex space and laundry facilities. Plans also show a leasing office, reception area, package and mail rooms, staff areas, maintenance and storage space, and indoor parking for approximately 40 bicycles.
Residential units would primarily occupy the upper floors, with a mix of one- and two-bedroom layouts. The latest plans maintain the 45-unit total while making adjustments to the ground-floor layout and overall site configuration.
Valor Phase II is currently in the concept review stage with the City and County of Denver. Plans remain preliminary and could change as the development moves through the city’s review and permitting process.
If approved and ultimately constructed, the project would add another income-restricted housing development near the East Colfax corridor, where several housing, transportation and redevelopment projects are currently underway.
