Denver International Airport and Aaravya Investments Break Ground on New Travel Center

Plans Sourced from Commercial Construction Permit

DENVER, CO – Denver International Airport and Aaravya Investments have officially broken ground on Elevate, a new travel convenience center that will serve drivers, travelers, rideshare users, and airport visitors along the rapidly growing Peña Boulevard corridor. The project, approved by Denver City Council in 2023, marks the start of a major new landside addition to the airport’s surrounding infrastructure.

The project, approved by Denver City Council in 2023, marks the start of a major new landside addition to the airport’s surrounding infrastructure.

Located on 5.49 acres just south of Peña Boulevard, Elevate is designed to meet longstanding traveler demand for better services and easier access to a south-side cell phone waiting area. The development includes 48 fueling positions, an express tunnel car wash, EV charging, a two-story convenience store with a national coffee brand, and a drive-thru. The project also introduces several first-of-its-kind amenities for the airport:

• A public cell phone waiting lot closer to inbound Peña
• A dog park
• A rentable conference room
• A secured parking area for Turo and other car-sharing vehicles
• Complimentary shuttle service to and from the Jeppesen Terminal

Food and beverage options will be anchored by On the Rise Kitchen, offering fresh grab-and-go meals, and the On the Rise Bar & Lounge, a second-floor space with a rooftop deck, tap beers, and lounge seating overlooking the airport corridor.

Sustainability is a major design priority. Elevate will incorporate solar arrays above the fueling canopy, LEED Gold-aligned construction standards, and water reclamation systems at the car wash to support DEN’s long-term environmental goals.

Aaravya Investments, the project developer and operator, is a minority-owned business with more than 20 years of experience in the service-station and retail sector. Over 75 percent of the company’s workforce identifies as women or minorities.

Construction is now underway, with completion expected in summer 2026. Elevate is the latest addition to DEN’s broader effort to modernize and expand landside amenities as passenger volumes continue to grow.

Developing Denver will continue to follow construction progress as new details are released.
