The Carriage House Is Now Open Next to Cheesman Park
DENVER, CO — The wait is now over. After a brief delay to ensure everything was ready for opening, The Carriage House has officially welcomed its first guests next to Cheesman Park. The new European-inspired café opened Thursday, August 6, at 1290 N. Williams Street, marking the completion of the project's first phase.

Guests can now stop in daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. for walk-in counter service featuring a menu of sandwiches, salads, pastries from Black Box Bakery, toastettes, coffee, wine, and beer. Visitors can enjoy their meals on the tree-lined patio overlooking the park, take their food to go, or browse a small retail selection of picnic provisions designed to complement a day at Cheesman Park.
While the café is now open, the project is still only partially complete. The second phase, expected to debut in September, will introduce a full cocktail bar, expanded happy hour offerings, and a beautifully remodeled indoor café space, completing the owners' vision for the historic property.
The opening comes just weeks after the team postponed its original launch date to allow additional time to finalize the space before welcoming customers. Now open to the public, The Carriage House adds another unique neighborhood gathering place along the edge of one of Denver's most iconic parks.
